Okay so I know ya’ll probably don’t want to read a review of the UNIF Hellbounds but I just need to rant and rave about these for a second. I’ve only had them for a day and I am amazed.
1. The whole aesthetic of the shoe is to die for. I don’t think any fashion bloggers exist that don’t like the Hellbounds. They are so fucking badass. I got six compliments tonight while I was out, from people my age, two old ladies, two old men, and a middle aged Dad. Like I love these so much that if these shoes were people I would fuck them. Me and the two shoes. A fucking Hellbound threesome. Sorry, not sorry.
2. They are comfy as fuck. They aren’t heavy at all. It took me a good few minutes of walking around the house to get my centre of gravity and then I was fine. I wore them solidly from 11am to about 9pm today and my feet didn’t start to ache at all. It was like walking on a fucking cloud. Walking down a hill was a tad awkward but that’s me not the shoes lol.
3. My life dream of being tall has finally been fulfilled. I’m 5’5” and I was always the shortest out of my friends. But in these I am well over 6’. Tonight I was standing there towering over everyone, and at eye level with the tallest men there. It was nice to not be talked down to. And even though this is mostly psychological and not totally the shoes, but I honestly felt like people respected me more. Normally men look down at me and flirt with me like I’m some dumb bimbo but as soon as you’re physically looking down at THEM they want to talk to you about your university degree and my opinion on current events.
4. GET THESE SHOES. I cannot recommend them enough. They are my first pair of UNIF shoes and I am so amazed at the quality. They are worth the expensive price, trust me!

i have a friend’s 21st coming up. and i could reeeeally use some help with outfit ideas.
1. the theme is black and white.
2. we’re going to dinner so it has to be semi formal.
3. but we’re then going clubbing afterwards so it has to be (is unformal a word? ill use it anyway) unformal enough to go clubbing in.
cause i need something nice enough to wear to a restaurant, but something i can grunge up to go out in the valley (which for people who dont live in brisbane, is like the dirty area on the outskirts of the city where all the good clubs are lol)
do any of my lovely fashionable followers have any ideas?
What should I wear to a show in a club?
My friend knows one of the guys in Bombs Away so we’re getting into their show at the Met tomorrow night for free. OHWW YEEEEAH IM ON THE LIST MOTHERFUCKERS. STEP ASIDE PEASANTS.
Anyway, I’ve been to shows before, it was basically my entire teen-hood, and clubbing is like, 50% of my adult life lol but I’ve never been to a show INSIDE a club. Do you wear clubbing clothes like dressy or do you wear gig clothes like a band tee and converse?
I’m pretty sure I’m not allowed to wear converse inside the Met, cause they have restrictions. But I have been told not to wear any ‘good’ clothes becausethe Bombs Away boys super soak the crowd in beer and champagne.

Wearing shorts for one of the first times since last Summer! Ignoring Uni work so I can watch The September Issue, one of the DVDs I got for $5 when Blockbuster shit down aww yeeeeeeeeeah!
Had a cry last night cause I lost my SECOND Alexander McQueen scarf :/ why am I so fucking ridiculous?! So I went online immediately and bought another one, the same as my two previous ones, and splurged and got a white one too! Okay now I’m going to stop spending money. My scarves don’t count. I wear it every day it’s a part of who I am now lolol #tooattachedtoastupidscarf #noregrets
so i was in a store tonight for late night shopping and i went to the counter to buy something and next to me there was a rack of high waisted shorts with the back pocket studded…..IN SPIKES. and i said to my mum who was with me ‘omg who would buy these, you wouldn’t be able to sit down, like at all whilst wearing these’. and then i turn to my left and the chick in front of me had just bought them and she heard and she looks at them again and i don’t think she realised hahaha the way she looked at them when i said that was like ‘oh shit i did not make that connection in my head, and i just paid $70 for these’ omg i felt so bad for her. the spikes were like loooooong long thin spikes. i checked them out on the manikin and they were fucking sharp as. no one is sitting down in them. lol ever.
